"The Highest Bidder"

What an emotional and inspiring story!  The 1936 Study Club, along with their many neighbors and friends, gathered on November 8th to hear firsthand the story of redemption told by Teresa Richenberger.

Teresa is the founder of Rahab’s Retreat and Ranch, a faith-based recovery home and ranch for women and children located in Kilgore, TX, and author of Sold to the Highest Bidder.

Teresa shared her life story and dynamic testimony of how Christ saved her from a life of drugs, exotic dancing and prostitution which began in her teens.  Through laughter and a few tears, she told how she finally gave herself to the Highest Bidder, Jesus Christ.  She now dedicates her life to saving other women and children.

For more information about her ministry, contact them at www.rahabsretreatandranch.comor (903) 218-4985.

The 1936 Study Club will have a bake sale on Tuesday, November 20th, at the Community Bank, 104 Hwy 155, Avinger, TX.  They will also sponsor the Angel Tree that supports the hopes and dreams of many Avinger area children this Christmas.
