Hearts full of Grace

There may be no greater pleasure than that which is felt while doing good works.  Service to our fellow man (and woman) blesses the giver as well as those served.  Doing Good Deeds is a simple and universal vision and one of mankind's most glorious tasks.  Having a Heart full of Grace is a key to having a Heart full of Happiness.

With those thoughts in mind, we would like to share two of our March projects.  The ladies of the 1936 Study Club collected toiletries and stuffed animals.  These items were distributed to the local Sheriff's office and the Cass County Battered Women's Shelter.  Law Enforcement officers are able to calm children in difficult situations with Teddy Bears and other stuffed toys.

The women fleeing to shelters often escape with only the clothes on their backs.  The basic necessities can become a source of joy for their broken hearts.  Two boxes of toiletries and stuffed toys were delivered to the Women's Shelter retail shop for distribution to these women.  These are just a sampling of the items donated.

We are thankful to the local citizens who helped in our collection efforts.  If you're in Cass County you can shop at  Hidden Treasures in Atlanta, the resale shop that supports the Women's Shelter.  All donations support victims of sexual assault and families involved in Violence.

May the givers be blessed with Joy!  The kindness that comes from Hearts full of Grace is a blessing to all!
